Shelving this in vegan kitchen because I typically don t pick up cookbooks that aren t all vegan I made an exception with this one I thought the tabs along the top of each recipe recovery, pre run, fast, vegan, gluten free, etc would guide my use of the book, and they certainly did Some winners, some not so great recipes Pretty sure no one tested the brown rice salad with curried tofu Cooking time on the tofu was definitely off I made an adjustment because 25 minutes isn t really enough Shelving this in vegan kitchen because I typically don t pick up cookbooks that aren t all vegan I made an exception with this one I thought the tabs along the top of each recipe recovery, pre run, fast, vegan, gluten free, etc would guide my use of the book, and they certainly did Some winners, some not so great recipes Pretty sure no one tested the brown rice salad with curried tofu Cooking time on the tofu was definitely off I made an adjustment because 25 minutes isn t really enough to allow the tofu to marinate, much less bake the cubes and get the shredded coconut crusting to brown and become aromatic, crunchy, and delicious Seasoning measurements also off in that recipe Up everything.Still, the winners were big winners I always love chickpea salads The chickpea, cherry, ginger salad was no exception It calls for feta, but the salad was delicious without it Black forrest smoothie was also incredible.Definitely worth picking up from the library, not worth buying IMO
