Ok look at many different ways to make stencils, stamps, and other mark making tools I found the instructions to be confusing frequently, with too many references to self branded products.

I have rediscovered my love of gel printing since spendingtime in my craft room because of the pandemic so I thought this book would be helpful, but I found it boring and the prints in it not at all what I like To be honest the prints I have made so far myself have been better The only reason I give it 2 stars is because it did give a few ideas for different things to use in gel printing otherwise a pretty bland book.

The look and layout of the book is haphazard and messy Bautista talks about her messy studio in the book and perhaps this was a way of demonstrating her style The instructions lack detail. The exercises produce muddy results Often I liked the prints when they were fewer steps in to the process, and the design was still discernible And why does the author or publisher feel the need to include the author s website on nearly every page I wanted to better understand the how tos of printmaking but The look and layout of the book is haphazard and messy Bautista talks about her messy studio in the book and perhaps this was a way of demonstrating her style The instructions lack detail. The exercises produce muddy results Often I liked the prints when they were fewer steps in to the process, and the design was still discernible And why does the author or publisher feel the need to include the author s website on nearly every page I wanted to better understand the how tos of printmaking but I m left with onlyquestions More specifics would have been appreciated

Wide variety of print making techniques for fabrics Very useful as source of inspiration and know how.

A very broad range of very new and interesting and nontraditional ways to prepare and do printing on various materials It s all about finding new approaches I found the step by step instructions not always completely understandable, but discovered that I easily understand them as soon as I start to use them in one of my projects.
