This is one of Nicola Cornick s earlier books It was a typical story with a few twists to make it interesting I wasn t very engaged with the hero or heroine The other characters seemedinteresting The story of Kit and Eleanor Mostyn was just okay.

In this story, the hero is too perfect and the heroine is too flawed as well as an immature coward I didn t like her.The heroines major problem was her fear of having another miscarriage, but the fact that she d had one was brought up far too late in the story for me to sympahtize with her behavior towards the hero.Mostly, I felt as if the book was drawn out to make word count and would have faired better as a novella or a short story.

The lack of communication between the hero and heroine does not bode well for a happy future This story has a ridiculous beginning, but wasn t a bad read.
