3 starsA Fool For You was a quick and steamy read. After reading the previous books in the Foolproof Love series, I couldn t wait for Daniel Danny and Hope s book I was excited to see how these two would come together after all these years apart and get their second chance at love. This makes me sad to say but while I liked the book, I didn t love it.I liked Hope s character, she was strong, smart and very forgiving especially after what she d been through It was Daniel s character that drove me 3 starsA Fool For You was a quick and steamy read. After reading the previous books in the Foolproof Love series, I couldn t wait for Daniel Danny and Hope s book I was excited to see how these two would come together after all these years apart and get their second chance at love. This makes me sad to say but while I liked the book, I didn t love it.I liked Hope s character, she was strong, smart and very forgiving especially after what she d been through It was Daniel s character that drove me crazy, his stubbornness and macho ways took away from my overall enjoyment To be honest I don t think I connected with him at all Having said that, what I did enjoy was revisiting the previous couples, Adam and Jules Quinn and Avery.I loved the support and friendship they offered Hope and Daniel, especially Adam He was a good friend to them both but I loved how he was able to pull Daniel out of his head and show him what he was missing by closing himself off from real life.Avery is still my fav, that girl has no filter and I love that about her And how could I forget to mention Ollie, Daniel s puppy She was such a cutie In closing, while I ve loved this series, I do feel a little let down in A Fool For You I really wish we got an epilogue as I feel this would have helped me believe Daniel s feelings were true and that he wasn t going to slip back into his pity partying ways Overall the Foolproof Love series has been a great read, the characters have been memorable and entertaining and their chemistry has been off the charts Lot s of hot and sensual times to be had, just what you d expect from a Brazen book Thank you to Entangled Brazen for the advance copy

Well damn Katee Roberts you have made this hard I have really enjoyed this series and when I found out this last one was Hope and Daniel I knew it was going to be a lotemotional and be a second chance romance so it took me a while to pull up my big girl panties and dive in.Don t get me wrong I knew there would be loads of steamy sex scenes and I have yet to find anything Katee has written that I haven t loved I just really enjoyed the humour and quirkiness of the last two and I would hav Well damn Katee Roberts you have made this hard I have really enjoyed this series and when I found out this last one was Hope and Daniel I knew it was going to be a lotemotional and be a second chance romance so it took me a while to pull up my big girl panties and dive in.Don t get me wrong I knew there would be loads of steamy sex scenes and I have yet to find anything Katee has written that I haven t loved I just really enjoyed the humour and quirkiness of the last two and I would have loved for that to continue But with the previous introductions I knew I was going to need some tissues and maybe a glass of wine or three and I wasn t wrong From the first page I was invested, I had to know how they were going to get passed this traumatic event that had torn them apart and reconcile how they both reacted to the aftermath of their loss and pain I loved Hope s no bullshit approach to dealing with everything and if I am being honest, while I wanted Daniel to be happy I really felt like he needed a kick in the dick for half the book. However when I hit that 90% mark I just knew I was going to walk away from this book without getting the resolution I so desperately wanted Now before you think I am complaining, I am not unhappy with how the book ended I just felt it was too abrupt I need an epilogue and maybe like a week sgrovelling and some action to back up all the pretty words from Daniel I just feel like I put the book down without finishing it or maybe I missed a few pages. That aside I did love the first 90% and Daniel and Hope were such a magnetic combination It was fun to watch them fall back in love and their lust cloud was pretty heady Catching up with the craziness of the other couples was good and I went through a whole gamut of emotions so all in all this book was a few hours of much needed escape on a stormy Sunday arvo.Check out my reviews here

adult book, and for the eyes of mature readers Official Summary It s been thirteen years since Hope Moore left Devil s Falls, land of sexy cowboys and bad memories Back for the weekend, she has no intention of seeing the man she never got over or the two of them getting down and dirty It s just a belated goodbye, right No harm, no foul.Until six weeks later, when her pregnancy test comes back positive Daniel Rodriguez hasn t forgiven himself for how things went down with Hope all those years ago He knows she s better off without him, but when she shows up on his doorstep, panicking because she s pregnant with his baby, he can t help seeing it as a chance to make up for the past.Too bad Hope has no intention of going along with his plans. What I Liked I m a little frustrated with this book I loved Foolproof Love and Fool Me Once, but this book this book was disappointing Daniel and Hope s story has been a long time coming, and the buildup has been fantastic as the series went But actually getting to their book this one , and experiencing the story disappointing I suppose I liked the HEA, but that was pretty much guaranteed I do like Katee Robert s writing, her world building, and the characters she builds in general But this story was incredibly disappointing, because it just wasn t fleshed out among other things The lack of everything makes this review so difficult to write But here I go What I Did Not Like This story was supposed to be the big one of the series, the story that was a long time coming Hope left town thirteen years ago, after a car accident left her knee broken up Her parents moved with her, for her to get better treatment Her brother died in that accident Daniel had been driving Daniel hasn t tried to contact Hope in those thirteen years, because he blames himself for the accident, and is wracked with guilt because John died and Hope was injured Hope never contacted Daniel because she thought he couldn t stand to look at her any.In any case, Hope comes back to establish a scholarship in John s name Daniel and Hope have sex once, the condom rips, and six weeks later, Hope is back because she is pregnant Daniel is determined to be in her and the baby s lives, and he wants her to stay in Devil s Falls But Hope doesn t want any of this Or does she First complaint this book was way too short 132 pages or so not enough The story felt so incomplete, like there were key events that were missing I felt like Hope and Daniel needed to have gone through MUCHin this story, before the HEA.Throwing in the pregnancy complicated things, and I felt like Robert didn t handle this pregnancy situation well at all Things felt way too rushed Only a week or two after Hope finds out that she is pregnant, the pair are googly eyed in love again, and Daniel wants to marry her, etc It was just badly done there was no development, nothing that made me believe that they were in love again, that they wanted to be married, that they weren t just doing it for the baby. And the big angsty stuff honestly, I didn t get it Daniel has a complex over the car accident, and I get that I understand his guilt I do not understand how the author twisted this to make the climax the big fight all about Daniel s guilt Basically I don t understand the conflict, because the author doesn t really do a good job of explaining to us what Hope s problem was at the climax I don t understand why Daniel suddenly wanted to leave, and then he changed his mind, and then Hope changed her mind I was getting whiplash There was no basis to all this crazy back and forth. There was no character development Or, very little I never really experienced anything from either character Daniel is grumpy and broken, Hope is rude and angry Occasionally the two of them will have a positive moment or two But actual character development There was a distinct lack Perhaps the pregnancy overtook the entire story That s what I think the pregnancy kind of ruined the character development, the relationship development, the romance in general.I did not like Hope She seemed like a child, stomping her feet in the ground, trying to seem tough and independent, but it was obvious that she needed someone I didn t like how she was acting to Daniel It was like she didn t want to stay in Devil s Falls just to spite him don t do that The baby is much his as hers Hope was so difficult and refused to really listen The communication between Hope and Daniel is atrocious Honestly, 90% of the problems in this book could have been solved with one conversation Which Hope refused to have Which Daniel refused to push. And then this book was just NOT sexy at all I kind of expect a certain level of steam now, when it comes to Katee Robert s books this book was totally lacking This book was so abbreviated and short, and NOT steamy No character development, no relationship development, and very flat sex scenes Come on Would I Recommend It While I totally recommend Foolproof Love and Fool Me Once, I do not recommend this book It s better if you skip it, especially for that price it s not worth it This book was incredibly short, especially compared to the first two books in the series they were much longer I think this is the first real disappointment that I ve had from Katee Robert but trust me, her other books are really good Especially her O Malleys series.Rating 2 stars I can t believe I m giving a Katee Robert book such a low rating I m sorry if this review didn t seem to make sense but trust me, it was as hard for me to write as it was for you to read There was so much wrong with this book I guess I m just happy that it ended well The series is a good one, but not this book
