    I finished reading this book in one seating cause I find that I have done so many things wrongly and often let impatient get the better of me I learned to dissociate the problematic behaviour away from the identity of the child, the behaviour is problematic but the child is still good and it s my child With that in mind I will get the head space to address the behaviour and not associate it as the child s identity therefore not shaming the child but coaching him or her through the misbehaviour I finished reading this book in one seating cause I find that I have done so many things wrongly and often let impatient get the better of me I learned to dissociate the problematic behaviour away from the identity of the child, the behaviour is problematic but the child is still good and it s my child With that in mind I will get the head space to address the behaviour and not associate it as the child s identity therefore not shaming the child but coaching him or her through the misbehaviour a short and concise book about the effects of shaming, the remedy for it and also how we can further prevent it
