This book was a littlecutesy than I am used to, but I mean come on, I knew it would be by the name and a cover Although there are certainly some steamy times to be had as well This was a great premise and plot that I hadn t seen before I really enjoyed the story and the characters as well Everything meshed really well, the characters, the world, the plot Some of the sayings are a tad cheesy, but I get it, this is a different realm, so I can just let is flow This is told in multiple P This book was a littlecutesy than I am used to, but I mean come on, I knew it would be by the name and a cover Although there are certainly some steamy times to be had as well This was a great premise and plot that I hadn t seen before I really enjoyed the story and the characters as well Everything meshed really well, the characters, the world, the plot Some of the sayings are a tad cheesy, but I get it, this is a different realm, so I can just let is flow This is told in multiple POV

I m not sure where to beginI m really not, this barely got a 3 star rating from me and that s pretty much only because I liked Aris s character and thought the book began well I think the book started going down hill when the sex started I don t have an issue with sex, but when you start adding sex scenes to almost every chapter something else suffers and in this case it was the plot Additionally the relationship is RH but it doesn t feel like an RH When they have their group dates it com I m not sure where to beginI m really not, this barely got a 3 star rating from me and that s pretty much only because I liked Aris s character and thought the book began well I think the book started going down hill when the sex started I don t have an issue with sex, but when you start adding sex scenes to almost every chapter something else suffers and in this case it was the plot Additionally the relationship is RH but it doesn t feel like an RH When they have their group dates it comes acrosslike friends hanging out All but one of the sex scenes was individually and there isn t even much PDA in front of the others It s almost as if she knows it bothers them to share and so keeps it behind closed doors The one shared sex scene, Aris wasn t even the focus of It was a shared sex scene because Drayce is bi and he wanted a piece of Caspian too so he was the focal point of the scene rather than her And everyone else took off uninterested in being around for that It was completely missing the sense of cohesion that makes why choose romance work In fact when she was first collecting partners it almost came across like cheating Parts of this, especially the part where the familiars show up come across like wish fulfillment rather than valid plot points And that also comes across as the authors floundered for an issue for the characters to face Other than the fact that spells were used to make some of the problems happen this didn t even need to be a fantasy novel and honestly the same things could have happened without magic at all with minor tweaks to the scene While in one 2 page scene they actually present what could be a realistic fantasy problem and a reason for the constant wish fulfillment, its never escalated beyond hey this could be a future issue if we don t keep our mouths shut It s not an actual issue To list a few of the conflicts, Aris faced disapproval from powerful parents, bullies, discrimination, a suitor with unwanted parental expectations and a stalker followed by potential blackmail Not a single one of those issues need a fantasy backdrop to occur Also even if one of those was the big bad the focus between them bounced so much that none of the issues held a lot of weight The proper build of escalating threats spread throughout the plot before facing the big bad didn t really occur Even the incidents with the stalker who they finally decided to make the big bad as the book meandered through sex scenes, had a few altercations in later chapters of the book The plot also skips time, putting multiple dates with unrelated events told in short scenes in each chapter rather than a continuous narrative Overall the plot lacks direction altogether Also in some of the scenes the male characters, particularly Kye, Drayce and Xan start to blend rather than remaining distinctive.Structurally, things like spelling and grammar was completely sound This book was extremely well copy edited It also took the time to add details, create a rich setting and give the characters emotion What it could have really used was a detailed plot outline with forward momentum, distinctive characters and an idea, besides wanting a bunch of different men, as to how it was a polyamorous relationship and the dynamics of that relationship It was okay, but no where near great

The first book set in this world kicked the series off with bang Great characters and world building helped set the tone for this book The writing flowed seamlessly and extremely well written with flare and sass I personally loved that it wasn t all sunshine and rainbows which just added to the storyline and helped round it all out A great read with a little of something for everyone including brilliant witty punchlines The two authors did an extremely brilliant job of writing this book.

Super cute and funny Filled with witchy puns but with something sinister brewing couldn t help it in the background.Plenty of world building but not too much information so that it overwhelms the story. This is a fast burn RH with a whole lot of storyline to back it up.Aris is just charming and I can t wait for book 2
